About Remus

Fascinated by computers since teenager he’s been around computers ever since. Passionate about Unix and open source he founded his own company in 2000 just to be able to use Linux full time and earn a living working on open source projects. Featured in an NHK documentary about the open source revolution he became a Internet Multicasting Service research fellow where he worked with Carl Malamud on finding ways to improve disjointed conversations on the Internet. Since he built his first web site 17 years ago and became so addicted to the Web and Internet that almost all his projects since then had some kind of relationship to this two outstanding environments. In present he’s working as a Software Architect with TSS Yonder on implementing as many of the new and healthy technologies to web and mobile web applications for the Yonder’s customers.
